Gioielli Mattioli’s history is not just that of modern jewellery manufacturing, it has older and deeper roots.

The company, born back in 1860, was originally called Antica Ditta Marchisio, one of the most prestigious in Turin’s gold manufacturing industry. Its expert goldsmiths were involved in the entire process, from gold brick to final product.

In the 1970s, Ditta Marchisio starts designing the most famous models for the most prestigious Maisons, which today continue to trust its expertise and experience.

In 1995, Luciano Mattioli, an experienced engineer and former manager at Pirelli, buys the company and brings to the business his extensive expertise in managing high profile companies.

Luciano asks his daughter Licia Mattioli, a well-established solicitor working in Turin, to help him manage the new business. In 2000, the two decide to give their name to a brand that in the past was already well known to the most prestigious fashion maisons.

This is how Maison MattioliMattioli was born; a brand that thanks to the enthusiasm and the commitment of Licia Mattioli, has now become a giant in the high-end jewellery sector, transformed from a business with 20 employees, to a corporation with more than 600!

According to Licia, the secret behind the Mattioli brand is the introduction of her father Luciano’s industrial management skills in an artisanal company, which caused a real revolution.

The brand’s careful selection of materials and unique design are immediately recognisable in every single one of Mattioli’s jewels.
